2-Day Training Workshop

Certification qualifies you to set up and conduct Fall Stop…MOVE STRONG™ beginner classes for older adults in your community, collect data to demonstrate effectiveness, and market your program as approved by Fall Stop…MOVE STRONG™. You will learn how to create your own business, establish a profitable fee structure, and acquire needed insurance. You will also receive marketing through the FSMS website, and email support.

Workshop participants who successfully complete the Fall Stop…MOVE STRONG™ Certification Program receive:

  • Fall Stop…MOVE STRONG™ DVD
  • Professionally-designed class handouts, including a step-by-step progressive exercise program
  • Data collection instruction
  • Research to demonstrate effectiveness
  • Music suggestions for class
  • Learn to set up both Live and Virtual (new!) classes
  • First-Year Licensing fee (valued at $150.00)

Celeste Carlucci, Founder, Fitness Expert
Celeste Carlucci is a fitness and wellness expert and former professional dancer based in New York City. She received her dance training at The Alvin Ailey School of Dance and alignment training from specialist Zena Rommett. She has performed nationally and internationally as a dancer with many notable choreographers, among them Bob Fosse. Celeste conducts LIVE and Online classes, offers workshops, trains facilities to implement Fall Stop…MOVE STRONG™ nationwide, and licenses FSMS content to nationwide digital health platforms. She is an active member of the New York City Falls Prevention Coalition.

Pre-requisites for the Fall Stop…MOVE STRONG™ instructor certification include experience, education and certifications as a dancer, fitness trainer, OT, PT, recreation therapist, or other relevant discipline. Contact us for more details.

One of our most well attended programs. FallStop is going strong. Even in bad weather we get a large crowd of 15-20 people most days. They are doing the more advanced level and there is a large age diversity in the group.

The classes have been going well. The format I use is to first do the Fall Stopper exercises with the class, then take them into the hallway to do agility walks together. The improvement is fantastic…as seen when we perform the post Functional Reach Test…the average improvement in 10 weeks is 4-6 inches!
